The Association of Developmental and Educational Psychology for Children, Youth, Elderly and Disabled people (INFAD) is a non-profit organization, nationally registered in Spain (No. 111.414.) and constituted by numerous psychologists and other professionals, all representing the set of several Spanish universities and research institutions. It also has the participation of a large group of professionals from the European Union (especially Portugal, Italy and France) and South America. Its main purposes are the education, the research and training, in order to improve the cooperation among different institutions (HEI-Business-Society) and the development of the human person and society.
Since its formal establishment in 1992, the INFAD Association has organized numerous scientific events such as congresses, symposiums and conferences in various Spanish and European cities. The organization of these meetings is the main means to carry out the dissemination of relevant research and teaching. This year will be held the 24th International Congress of Psychology INFAD.
Finally, INFAD is involved in several projects funded by the EU as well as releases annually some publications that collect and disclose the latest research in the field of European Psychology. Especially, through its scientific journal, the “International Journal of Developmental and Educational Psychology”.
